2018 – Building on Growth

2018 is set to be another exciting year for P2V Systems. We’ll be making the most of our achievements from the past 12 months – of which there were many, from new customers, more staff and new offices. We also added more accolades to our growing list of awards and accreditations. Below we pick out our key moments from 2017.

Microsoft Global Award

Arguably our biggest achievement of the year was winning a coveted Microsoft Global Partner of the Year Award. From more than 2,800 partner entries submitted for last year’s programme, we were selected as the 2017 Microsoft Cloud Packaged Solution, Global Partner of the Year. As you can imagine, we were absolutely thrilled about it. Find out more about our award-winning Cloud Packaged Solution.

Microsoft Accreditations

2017 saw us achieve gold Cloud Platform competency, as well as becoming a Microsoft Authorised Education Partner (AEP) demonstrating a “best-in-class” ability and commitment to meet Microsoft customers’ evolving needs. We completed our hat-trick of Microsoft Accreditations for 2017 by earning Silver Datacentre Partner status. Find out more about our Microsoft Accreditations.

Deloitte Fast 50 & Fast 500 EMEA

The Deloitte Ireland Fast 50 Awards rank the very best in the indigenous technology sector and recognise companies that have demonstrated exceptional growth in turnover over the last four years. P2V Systems ranked 10th in this year’s list, a couple of spots higher than our inaugural entry at position 12 last year. But things got even better…

We celebrated more success after making it into the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA which recognise the fastest-growing technology companies in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). We were delighted to make our inaugural entry at position 284.

We were delighted to win our place on several prestigious frameworks including CPC, the only Further Education purchasing consortium in the UK, to provide backup, archiving and networking solutions to a wide range of Further Education institutions throughout the UK.

We were also accepted as a Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supplier through the UK Government G-Cloud 9 Framework. Through this framework, we supply 31 cloud services including; Microsoft Azure Hosting Services, Office 365, Mimecast Email Security, PaaS Application Hosting and GDPR and DPA Assessment and Auditing.

Finally, we were awarded a place on Technology Services 2 Framework Agreement RM3804. This framework was developed by the CCS to enable Central Government, Local Authorities and NHS Trusts to take significant steps towards the “Digital by Default” agenda. P2V Systems was awarded Lot 3: Operational Services. Learn more.

GDPR Event

In June, we hosted an event to help organisations prepare for the fast-approaching GDPR legislation which becomes law in May 2018. Along with a guest speaker from Microsoft, our team helped attendees understand their GDPR responsibilities and provided advice on compliance requirements and how to adapt to the challenges of the GDPR through the adoption of cutting-edge technology.

New Faces & New Offices

Over the past 12 months, we’ve welcomed seven new members of staff to our team, across various business functions. We’ve also expanded our operations with the opening of both Dublin and London offices. As a result, we’ve invested in resources on the ground in GB, having recruited a new London-based Sales & Business Development Manager. Meet our team members by visiting the Our Team Page.

We’re Doing our Bit!

From completing the annual Grant Thornton Runway Run to taking part in the Byte Night national charity sleep-out in aid of Action for Children as well as some in-house activities including raising money for Mencap and Epilepsy Action we have raised over £4000 for charity this year. Thanks to everyone who supported our fundraising efforts!
